Ashtalakshmi Puja Celebrations

This festival is celebrated in the "SRAVAN" month of the Hindu calendar shortly before Poornima. It is a age old belief that worshipping Lord Varalakshmi is equivalent to worshipping Ashtalakshmi who represent different forms of wealth. Traditional way of exchange of Black Chana along with betel leaves, fruits and flowers are done with other women to enhance the bond between them inturn enhancing their wellbeing ,health and prosperity.
